Harris Academy Purley
Harris Academy Purley is where MSC began. The initiative developed from a small STEM competition into a broader student-led model involving subject-based projects, practical challenges, student leadership and larger STEM activity.
Curriculum delivery
The shared MSC curriculum, delivered in a local school context.
HAPU follows the shared MSC Year 7-9 curriculum. The central curriculum remains the same across participating schools, while HAPU can organise its timetable, programmes, competitions and local projects around its own school context.
Local delivery
How HAPU organises MSC
Science, Maths and Computing are connected through practical, subject-based work.
Departments and enrichment routes can support delivery without creating separate curriculum versions.
Local programmes such as Exploration Day sit alongside the shared Year 7-9 curriculum.
