Programmes are ways MSC can be delivered, extended or shared. They sit alongside the central curriculum rather than replacing it.

What HAPU currently runs
MSC Competitions
Competition can add motivation and shared goals to MSC, but it sits around the learning rather than replacing it. Scoring should reward subject accuracy, evidence, adaptation, testing and communication where relevant.

STEM Enrichment
Enrichment gives schools room to extend MSC through clubs, workshops and additional projects while the central Year 7-9 curriculum remains consistent.

MSC Exploration Day
Exploration Day brings a concentrated day of practical STEM activity into HAPU. It is a school programme rather than the central MSC curriculum, so other MSC schools are not required to copy its format.

Practical STEM Projects
Practical projects are a core way MSC can be delivered. The exact activity changes by year and subject, but students are expected to show thinking, respond to evidence or constraints and improve the quality of the final outcome.
